How to copy numbers in Excel without a formula

Using the Clipboard tool

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Open the Excel application and then open the workbook that contains the dataset your dataset.

2. Click on the cell that contains the number you need to copy. If the numbers are in more than one cell, highlight the cells with numbers you wish to copy.

3. Click the Home tab on the ribbon and locate the Clipboard section. From the section, click on the Copy button.

4. Click where you need to paste the numbers. Select several cells if the numbers are in more than one cell.

5. Click the Home tab on the ribbon and locate the Clipboard section. From the section, click the Paste drop-down button. From the menu, choose the Values Icon.

Using the Right-Click Tool

Steps:
